AIT Austrian Institute of Technology GmbH   –   www.ait.ac.at
AIT Austrian Institute of Technology is Austria’s largest non-university research institution. The Center for Digital Safety & Security of AIT is a leader in the innovation of smart real time systems for optical and fiber-optical safety and security solutions. The central core competence is dependable real time signal processing software, photonics and in embedded systems (optics, hardware, software and system design). The Center for Digital Safety & Security of AIT exploits sensor data fusion from heterogeneous sensor networks and photonic systems for robust, low false alarm rate surveillance of safety critical infrastructure, and opto-electronic integration technology to shape the next-generation of photonic systems.
The center is very experienced in working in, as well as coordinating, research projects. It is or has been coordinating the following European projects: SANY, DECOS, SENSE and SECOQC from FP6, MOGENTES and CARBOTRAF from FP7, CARE from the EC joint initiative Active Assisted Living, BASEXPO from the EUREKA and UNIQORN from the H2020 program. In LIANDRI, the competence units “Sensing and Vision Solutions” and “Security and Communication Technologies” will be engaged.

University of Siegen   –   www.uni-siegen.de
The University of Siegen was founded in 1972. It has a strong engineering bias due to its predecessors. The Medical Informatics and Microsystem Design Group is part of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Informatics. It hat a long record of national and European projects, such as iDEV40 (2018), TRACE (2016), ELISE (2016), and SenseVojta (2016) in the recent years with topics in medical data acquisition and processing, semiconductor technologies, and automotive application. In the technical domain, semiconductor processes, design and test of conventional 2D as well as advanced 3D Systems are covered. Besides these cooperative projects there exist also close co-operations with industrial partners in their respective domains, e.g. Elmos, ams, BMW, Bosch, Aptiv and Senetics.

Soft2tec GmbH   –   www.soft2tec.com
Soft2tec was founded 2004. The strengths of Soft2tec lie in 3D Motion Capturing and analysis tools for quality monitoring, pre-positioning, motion tracking, and much more. One of Sof2Tec’s product series known as Nexonar, is a cost-effective way to capture 3D positions in real time for diverse applications. The captured data can be further analyzed and integrated in complex solutions and algorithms developed by Soft2tec.
Soft2tec delivers complete systems for 3D point cloud complex measurements and components that enable customers to efficiently implement measurement applications in different areas of industry, sports, quality assurance and ergonomics. The results help quickly optimize production, work processes, and can help in the development of ergonomic products and jobs. Soft2tec employs a team of 30 hard- and software specialists and has many years of experience in research, development and production of 3D measurement technology for industrial and biomechanical applications. Soft2tec founded successfully with partners two joint venture companies: Science & Motion Sports GmbH develops products to measure the putting stroke and body movements in the golf sport. RV realtime visions GmbH develops visualization applications based on 2D and 3D motion capturing systems for rehabilitation and marketing.
